We’ve made a lot of progress since 2013 when we renewed the push to revitalize Cedar Lake. With the eventual transfer of ownership from Alliant to the City of Cedar Rapids, we can now begin to raise funds to make our vision – the community’s vision – a reality. This effort takes more than blood, sweat and tears. It takes money to:

• • Add signs that educate users about what’s ahead
  • Fund a feasibility study to assess the level of community giving
  • Create marketing materials to assist with fundraising
  • Kick off our fundraising campaign to make this whole thing happen

Donations to the Friends of Cedar Lake are being taken through the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. We are a 501(c) 3 organization so all donations are tax exempt.
